Saving the Bees

Bzzzzzzz! Where are all the bees going? Here's the answer: Pesticides! Specifically a new type called neonicotinoids. So now we know why the bees are dying, but what can we do to help? Plant a bee garden. Now many people see a bee and run away screaming, but here's a fun fact. Bumblebees (which are larger and have more fur than honeybees) are actually very gentle. That's right, no need to run! Another thing to do is to build a bee habitat, it's actually very simple and requires very few resources. So let's get to work!

Flowers for your Bee Garden

How to Build a Bee House

  1. Find a relatively thick piece of wood
  2. Drill holes into it
  3. Hang it outside
The bees will move into the holes!
